The only entity that might be considered part of the West that regularly engages in operations actually intended to maximise civilian casualties is Israel. And in this case, there is no entity in the West with any interest in killing Russians and certainly not by the hand of ISIS.

Pickle, not sure anybody believes that the west is squeamish about killing civilians in other countries to suit their political goals. This has been proven demonstrably true in countless foreign wars; Serbia, Iraq (twice), Libya, Syria to name but a few.
The US and the rest of the west have funded and supported Islamic terror groups from the Mujahade'en in Afghanistan to the Taliban, ISIS and ISIL as well as fighting them, this has been documented and reported on numerous times.
As for Kremlin bullshit, you can call it what you like, its no less or more credible than any western media source. Its all propaganda and you know it.

Neither Ukraine nor any Western power has any interest in killing innocent Russian civilians or cooperating with ISIS-K, especially on a terror attack of this kind.
This is perfectly obvious to anyone with a sort of rudimentary grasp on reality. As for taking the opportunity to relay the Kremlin bullshit; well the motivations for that have already been covered well enough.

Lukashenko's statement is really odd, because the car was stopped nowhere near the Belarus border and on the wrong road. On the route they were on it was a 8-9 hr drive to belarus, if they took a different route it would have been a 6 -7 hr drive tops to Belarus, but the road was the direct route to Ukraine. If they wanted to go to Belarus on the road they took they should have took an exit about 70 odd km earlier.

Jake Broe has a pretty good take on it. I didn't know that Crocus City Hall by all accounts boasts its own police station and a security detail of up to 400 personnel during a full-house event. Not including that FSB HQ isn't far away. Plus Lukashenko contradicted Putin when he says the terrorists were aiming for Belarus's border. A case of USA - It was ISIS. UK - It was ISIS. ISIS - It was us. Russia - It was Ukraine!

Russia knows who carried out the Crocus City attack but is now investigating who gave the order, President Vladimir Putin said on Monday, pointing to Ukraine as being the likely culprit.
“This attack was carried out by radical Islamists,” Putin said in the opening remarks at a video call with law enforcement officials.
The US and its allies are now trying to cover for their proxies in Kiev, insisting that Ukraine had nothing to do with the terrorist attack and that the party responsible was Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS), the Russian president noted.
“But we know who carried out the attack. We want to know who ordered it.”
Russian law enforcement is currently looking into the perpetrators, who have been apprehended and brought before a judge. The investigation needs to be “professional, without any political bias,” Putin said.
More than 130 people were killed at the concert venue northwest of Moscow on Friday evening, when several armed men began shooting into the crowd and set the hall on fire. A terrorist group calling itself Islamic State Khorasan (ISIS-K) has claimed responsibility.
Russian security services detained four alleged perpetrators, who were driving towards Ukraine, as well as seven of their suspected accomplices. The men were identified as ethnic Tajiks.
Putin noted that the fact the terrorists were headed for Ukraine posed questions that needed answering.
“Who was waiting for them there? It is clear that those who support the Kiev regime do not want to be accomplices and sponsors of terrorism. But a lot of questions remain,” he said.
The US and the EU swiftly insisted that Ukraine had nothing to do with the attack and that IS – a shadowy group allegedly operating in Afghanistan and Central Asia – was the sole culprit.

No investigation - no proof, but Putin seems to have intimate knowledge of all this. Does that mean he was aware of this about to happen but chose to allow it as he deemed it politically expedient to do so:
Not that different from those on here (who demand the respect their intelligence & education is entitled to) putting up their own claims but with no supporting evidence whatsoever.
